As Edurun has opened for its registration on 15th of Oct, have you ever wondered about the purpose of our event?
In 2018, Persatuan Prihatin Komuniti Johor Bahru (PPKJB) started Edurun to raise funds to assist families with their children’s education costs. We realised some families are having challenges coping with their children’s educational needs such as costs of transportation and school tuition fees.
The fund raised has been used to assist these families in their children’s whole-year costs for some aspects of their education because we believe education as an important enabler of social mobility.
